Hey Gang!
Rick here and I just wanted to updated the world and everyone on the status of all things Mothership!
First, 2016… whew. What a year! This has been one of the coolest and heartbreaking years of my entire life. To start things out my wife was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cervical cancer that really scared us. After a surgery it looks like all bits were successfully removed and none had spread anywhere else. This is a bit bittersweet as she, (we), have decided to go ahead and move ahead with a procedure which will prevent her from ever being able to have more children.
We are truly blessed for the three babies we have now and though we entertained the idea of more in the future her health is far more important.
I changed my career path to a position which requires much less travel so that has allowed me to do some much needed breathing and gaming with my closest friends and loved ones. We even bought a new house which has made things even more accommodating.
We are also terribly saddened with the passing of James’s father recently. It has been a rough few months for him and any good vibes you can put in the universe would be awesome.
Whelps
Production on Whelps to Wyrms is moving along nicely. Some of the miniature models have been finalized and they truly look amazing. Can’t wait to see this game and have it hit tables all over the world!
Outer Gods
Development on Outer Gods has been moving slower than we would like but we are all just tremendously busy with our own lives.
Head on over to the forums though for we have just officially updated the rule set based on play tester feedback and have some really neat things ready to play.
The Future
2017 will be our official breakout year as we poise to release Outer Gods through Kickstarter and move forward with a few other projects we have in the can. Can’t wait to give you more details on all that in the months to come!
Thanks for taking the time to read all this – on behalf of all of us at Mothership have a safe holidays and a great end of the year!
